Your take about on this discussion is incredible and well thought out. However I think it is important to consider the idea that the 4B movement may also be a trend or temporary at least in the western sphere. I believe that radical movements such as these arise from the fear and dissonance marginalised groups experience once they realise society has not changed as much as they have believe it to have changed. It’s a temporary method of resistance, an empty threat.

I just - I’m not black and I’m not American and not from a working class family, & the intersectionality lacking in the post election 4B movement outside of South Korea was something I only hazily understood very basic bulletin headlines of-
Till this post I couldn’t even internally, like “feeling it out” intuitively coherently connect the dots beyond that hazy / pieace meal headline understanding-
So this clarity of how u wrote this meaning I, with processing cos everything was so thoughtful and I needed to think therefore lol, which just restacking & like the ways in which( I wish I knew how to articulate things including describe / explain / understand even wtf the things were that made this what it was -
where like, it was like turning over pieces of the multi dimensional physical model in different iterations as I “played” with it Bevause your writing is so gosh darn engaging (and I give up easy when I don’t understand words cos of shame and privilege, hashtag wilful ignorance)
that it kept me trying and it was so smooth & natural & each bit was beautifully created & then when clicking of meaning happened inside me it was like sparks and then the point that led me to writing this aka finishing it
aka getting an oof of “omfg this sets things out so helpfully inside me” (basically mortifying to be like “omfg thank u for helping me” because u shouldn’t have to be helping and yet here we are so thank you!!!) xxxxxxxx
