Been waiting for more discussion about this aspect of the whole Diddy case - everyone’s hung up on respectability politics when there’s a mountain of evidence this man took advantage of dozens of vulnerable people
A very interesting read. Black communities around the world are very tolerant of abuse but are always looking for something to invalidate certain groups of people so that they can feel comfortable with themselves or better about themselves and their own life decisions and/or experiences.
Definitely waiting for the day you talk about the threat of female agency.
